AC 428 Convertible by Frua Sport Car
AC Cars produced only 81 428 Frua's of which only 29 were convertibles . Built on a similar chassis as the 427 cobra . In fact the rolling chassis was sent to Turin Italy for the bodies to be fabricated in steel and returned to AC Cars for painting , trimming etc . This particular car in its stunning original colour of metallic Live Oak , shows.

The AC 428, never a cheap car, turned out to be rarer than the Gordon-Keeble. In many ways, it was not the glossy international GT hot rod that its mongrel CV seemed to imply.

This 1968 AC 428 is only the second one we've ever seen for sale in the USA. It looks to be in very clean condition, and is said to have matching numbers but a color change from blue in 1989.
